The rolling piece is the billet that enters the rolling mill.
The rolling process usually refers to the mechanical process of rolling deformation between rolls. During the rolling process, people are mainly concerned about the following aspects of rolled products: dimensional accuracy and geometry of rolled products; microstructure and properties of rolled products; surface quality of rolled products; distribution and size of rolled defects.
The rolled product is a metal material produced by rolling method and has a certain cross-sectional shape. When hot rolling produces thin-gauge strips, the rolling phenomenon will occur at the tail of the strip. On the one hand, it will affect the appearance quality of the strip and must be manually cut. On the other hand, the resulting strip fragments stick to the rolls, which affects the subsequent strip production and produces quality accidents. Common tail rolling has three forms: bilateral rolling, unilateral rolling, and unilateral partial rolling.
