Cross Wedge Rolling Machine D46-500

Key words:

Cross wedge mill 500

D46 high efficiency precision cross wedge mil Cross wedge olling refers to the continuous local deformation of the cylindrical billet between the two rolls of the die, and the rolled workpiece is consistent with the shape of the bottom groove of the die.

Details

The integrated cross wedge rolling machine D46-500 is widely used in manufacturing forgings or steel parts in automobile, machinery and other fields. The outside diameter of the roller is 500mm. The maximum diameter of the billet is 55mm while the length of rolled part is 400mm.

Mechanical Principles

The heated barstock is fed into the gap of two rollers with wedge-shaped dies which rotate in the same direction. As the barstock passes through the gap, it undergoes radial compression deformation and rotates in the opposite direction to the rollers, while simultaneously extending and deforming to form stepped shaft parts.

 Forging Features

High production efficiency.

The efficiency of CWR machine is usually 5-20 times that of other processes. If the geometry of the product is not complex, using a symmetrical die and then a pair of workpieces can be processed at once.

High material utilization rate.
