Cross Wedge Rolling Machine D46-400

Key words:

Cross wedge mill 400

D46 high efficiency precision cross wedge mil Cross wedge rolling refers to the continuous local deformation of the cylindrical billet between the two rolls of the die, and the rolled workpiece is consistent with the shape of the bottom groove of the die.

Details

The integrated cross wedge rolling machine D46-400 is widely used in manufacturing forgings or steel parts in automobile, machinery and other fields. The outside diameter of the roller is 400mm. The maximum diameter of the billet is 45mm while the length of rolled part is 300mm.

Mechanical Principles

Cross wedge rolling refers to a process in which a barstock undergoes continuous local deformation between dies on two rollers, resulting in the workpiece taking on the shape of the die groove. The dies are installed on the rollers and rotate in the same direction, compressing and deforming the barstock into a wedge shape as it rotates in the opposite direction.
