Cross wedge mill 630
cross wedge rolling machine supplier
cross wedge rolling machine vendor
Details
The integrated cross wedge rolling machine D46-630 is widely used in manufacturing forgings or steel parts in automobile, machinery and other fields. The outside diameter of the roller is 630mm. The maximum diameter of the billet is 65mm while the length of rolled part is 500mm.
Mechanical Principles
Developed in the 1960s, cross wedge rolling is a modern steel rolling technology suitable for rolling rotators with varying sections. The process mainly involves sawing round steel, heating, rolling, normalizing, shot blasting, straightening, and product sawing. The rollers rotate in the same direction to achieve the rolling deformation of the round steel through the die.

Forging Features
● Compared with traditional machining process, cross wedge rolling can save about 10% to 30% of materials.
● Easy to realize automation.
● Processes from forming, surface finishing to the final product completed are automatically carried out by the machine, requiring fewer operators.
Application
Suitable for the (mass) production of circular section type of shaft parts.
