The integrated cross wedge rolling machine D46-1000 is widely used in manufacturing forgings or steel parts in automobile, machinery and other fields. The outside diameter of the roller is 1000mm. The maximum diameter of the billet is 110mm while the length of rolled part is 800mm.
Mechanical Principles
The cross wedge rolling machine utilizes the rolling principle and is primarily composed of upper and lower tapered rollers. Two tapered rollers rotate on the same axis and clamp a metal billet between them. By applying mechanical force, they progressively shape the billet into a taper. After repeated rolling, the billet reaches the required size and shape, enabling the production of various conical parts with precise dimensions and complex shapes in the next stage of processing.
