Mechanical Principles


The cross wedge rolling machine utilizes the rolling principle and is primarily composed of upper and lower tapered rollers. Two tapered rollers rotate on the same axis and clamp a metal billet between them. By applying mechanical force, they progressively shape the billet into a taper.
